Thank you for visiting this site. We are a small home based business located about an hour outside Memphis, TN. All our items come from a loving, smoke-free home. I have three beautiful cats, but they are not allowed in my quilting studio. I also have seven butterfly koi in the pond we built last summer. They are lovely to watch from the window in my quilting studio.
I've been quilting for about 5 years now. I love to read and buy any book or magazine I find mentioning a quilting technique I haven't tried before. I started out making alot of pieced quilts. Lonestars and log cabins are some of my favorites. Currently, I'm obsessed with wholecloth and trapunto work. I'm a member of the American Quilter Society and I also teach quilting classes at one of the local quilting shops, A Stitch Away, located in Millington, TN. Please see my Quilting Classes Section for which quilts I'm currently teaching, as well as what dates they will be available.
I am an in-home representative for the Homesteader Longarm Machine made by Quilting Solutions. It's a truely affordable longarm and I'd be happy to demo it for you. This year I also purchased an APQS Millenium longarm with a 14 ft table and I"m very eager to start making quilts with it as well. I use my longarm with a PC Quilter Side Mount to make it computer controlled. We all know fabric moves and nothing can be perfect, but I require a high level of accuracy in my quilting and this longarm set up allows me to achieve it.
I work out of my home, but I'm lucky enough to have a husband who let me turn the entire second floor of our new house into a huge 900 sq. ft. quilting studio. That's a work in progress, but it's turned out just perfect so far.
If you are interested in longarm quilting, please check out the Longarm Quilting Section of the website. I've tried to offer alot of options because I feel every quilt needs a custom design. What works for one person, may not work for the next. I realize some of it may be confusing and you are welcome to email me any questions. I love talking to my customers and will generally respond within 24 hours, if not the same day. Please make sure to include your email address so I have somewhere to send the reply.
Nothing is more satisfying than having your quilts finished so they can be used. I look forward to finishing those quilts for you and I will treat your quilts with great care and respect.
